Alpine Slide Opening This Weekend

Alpine Slide Opening This Weekend

The Mt. Hood Adventure Park at Skibowl is opening Saturday June 1st for its 25th year of summer fun!  The weather forecast calls for sunny skies this weekend, so pack the car and head on up!

Scheduled to operate out of Skibowl West is the Northwests only 1/2 mile dual Alpine Slide, 18 hole Disc Golf course, Scenic Sky Chair rides,Interpretive Hiking trails and the Mountain Bike Park.  Only the lower trails including Gnar Gnar, Fire Hydrant and the three Freeride trails will be open for mountain biking due to snow still in the upper elevations.  New to the Alpine Slide this year is the conversion of our entire fleet of sleds to four wheels, which will make every ride down the track better than ever before.

The scheduled hours of operation are 11:00am to 6:00pm this Saturday and Sunday.  We will be open weekends only until June 15th when we will operate seven days a week through Labor Day, then weekends in September.  See our hours of operation page for schedule updates.

Due to the late spring snowfall last week, the Skibowl East activities may not be open this coming weekend.  The Skibowl team is working hard to get all the activities up and running, including the Summer Tube Hill, Bungee Tower and the new Malibu Raceway, so keep checking back for updates on the opening of all the Eastside attractions.

Forgot your lunch? No problem. Skibowl's Cafe, the Ratskeller Bar & Pizzeria or the High Mountain Cafe have you covered for all your hunger cravings.
