Alpine Slide, Sprint Cars & Mt Bike Freeride Park Open Saturday!

The Mt. Hood Adventure Park at Skibowl is opening Saturday May 24th for its 26th year of summer fun!  The hours of operation will be 11:00am to 6:00pm Saturday, Sunday and Monday - Memorial Day.  This is the earliest opening in years, thanks go out to the hardworking Skibowl employees that made it happen!

The Northwest’s only ½ mile dual Alpine Slide, Malibu Sprint Cars and the Mountain Bike Freeride Park are the attractions opening for this weekend.  The rest of the activities at the Adventure Park at Skibowl east featuring the 100' Freefall Bungee Tower, 800 foot long Zip Lines, the Malibu Virage Cars are targeted to open Saturday May 31st.

The Gnar Gnar and Fire Hydrant mountain bike trails will be open from Midway down along with the three Freeride Park trails.  If you haven't ridden the Freeride Park yet, you are in for a huge surprise!  The three trails offer ability levels for everyone from easiest to most difficult.  Bikes will have to unload at the midway station of the Lower Skychair due to snow still on trails higher up.  The all day bike lift ticket will be reduced to $25.00 for the weekend!  Rental bikes and helmets are available onsite at the Hurricane Bike Shop.

We will have a host of lodges open for you to pick a great meal from.  Enjoy a fresh beverage and our famous nacho plate in the Beer Stube after a day of fun on the mountain, or a signature Salmon burger from the 70 Meter Bar & Grill in the Multorpor Lodge.  The Starlight and Multorpor Cafes will also be open to serve you up a selection of delicious items.  In the evening head over to the Ratskeller Bar & Pizzeria for the best food and atmosphere in Governtment Camp.  Start your day right with a hot espresso and breakfast bagel at the High Mountain Cafe, located above the Ratskeller.

The Adventure Park will be open weekends until June 14th, when we will be open seven days a week until Labor Day, then weekends through September.  The Park operates weather permitting, so please check ahead if the weather looks inclement.
