Downhill Mountain Biking FINALS race at Mt. Hood Skibowl!

It's time to see who the big winners are!

Downhill mountain bike racing returns this weekend to the Mt. Hood Adventure Park at Skibowl with the Downhill Mountain Biking FINALS..  The fun starts this Saturday with race training and registration. Click here for event information.

This is an event you won't want to miss.  The top cash prizes include a $300 prize for 1st place men, and $150 for 1st place women, plus a raffle of great prizes for all after the last PRO rider crosses the finish line.  Food and drink specials will be available all weekend at the Outback Grill.

Spectators are welcome to watch as PRO/CAT I contestants race from the peak of Skibowl at 5,100 feet, down the Cannonball run, reaching speeds up to 50 mph, then through the technical Woods trail, finishing at the Skibowl West base area.  Non racers may enjoy the over 20 attractions at the Adventure Park during their weekend stay.

Saturday race training is from 12:00pm to 5:00pm for all categories.  Sunday training is from 10:00am to 10:45am (one run only), with the race starting at 11:30am.  There will be an 11:00am racer meeting at the finish line.  Racers can register onsite the day of the event and get full details at skibowl.com.  There will be a showing of mountain bike videos Saturday evening starting at 6:00pm at the Ratskeller Bar and Pizzeria, along with great food and drink.  The Ratskeller is located in the heart of the Village of Government Camp.

This race will occur rain or shine, so come up and support your favorite racer!  The racing was fast and furious last time and the racers are chomping at the bit to fight for top bragging rights of the season.
