Grand Opening of the Mt. Hood Adventure Park at Skibowl!

Grand Opening of the Mt. Hood Adventure Park at Skibowl!

We are 0pen seven days a week starting this Saturday, June 14th, 2014.

The Mt. Hood Adventure Park at Skibowl is celebrating its 26th year of summer fun and is now operating seven days a week through Labor Day and weekends in September.

Attractions include the Northwest’s only ½ mile dual Alpine Slide, Malibu Raceway featuring Virage Indy and Sprint Cars, Freefall Bungee Tower, Horseback & Pony Rides, Bungee Trampolines, the Mountain Bike Freeride Park plus much more!  With over 20 attractions where you are in control, the Mt. Hood Adventure Park at Skibowl is Oregon’s premier summer destination for fun.

New this season is a brand new five person Bungee Trampoline to add to our four person Bungee Trampoline, a second Aqua Rollers™ pond, and the new Malibu Raceway.  The raceway has two competitive tracks – one for the Sprint cars and one for the Virage Indy cars.  The Virage Indy cars are high-powered machines that are a 7/10th scale replica of the real Indy cars.  The Sprint cars offer wheel-to-wheel racing in a classic car.  With single or two-seaters available, you can bring family and friends and enjoy all being on the track together.

All the mountain bike trails are now open from the top of Upper Bowl down to the base area, including all three trails in the Mountain Bike Freeride Park.  If you haven't checked these trails out yet, you are missing the biggest secret on Mt. Hood!

Are you ready?  The Kids Adventure Games are coming to Skibowl!  Offering kids ages 6 through 14 the opportunity to experience the thrill of adventure racing.  Kids learn teamwork skills, have fun and build confidence in a one-of-a -kind outdoor experience created just for them.  During the race, teams of two will work together to navigate a variety of sports and problem-solving challenges.  The Kids Adventure Games was founded in 2009 with a single event in Vail, Colorado.  In 2013, after five successful summer events, the concept has expanded to become a national series, hosted by some of the countries top resorts, including Mt. Hood Skibowl!  Sign your kid up today, space is limited.

Operating hours for the Mt. Hood Adventure Park at Skibowl are as follows:  Monday-Thursday 11:00am to 6:00pm, Friday 11:00am to 7:00pm, Saturday & Sunday 10:00am to 7:00pm.  Two hour, half day and all day Adventure passes along with the premium Action Pass are offered starting at only $29.  Groups, birthday parties, company picnics and weddings are welcome at Skibowl and special rates are available.  The Adventure Park operates weather permitting, please check ahead at skibowl.com or call 503-222-BOWL (2695) for up to date operating hours and conditions.
