Volunteer Bike Days and PARTY!

Volunteer Bike Days and PARTY!

Calling all mountain bikers!  Come join us for the first ever Volunteer Bike Days and PARTY here at the Mt. Hood Skibowl Bike Park.

Join us Saturday October 12th and 13th for a work party to get the trails ready for the winter.  Trail work will be from 9:00am to 1:00pm.  Come ready to work on the trails, rain or shine, in the appropriate clothing and footwear for working on the hill.  Bring a helmet, basic tools like a garden rake, water, shovel, loppers, a wheelbarrow if you have room, and a great attitude!  We will be working on putting in water bars for the winter, removing rocks that have come loose over the summer, and making sure drainage is good on the trails so they don't wash out.  A release will need to be signed on site.

After the work, the fun starts when we head over to the Ratskeller Bar and Pizzeria at 2:00pm for a party with complimentary pizza and beverages.  All participants will receive a FREE bike lift ticket voucher that will be valid for one year.  Come on up and enjoy a fun fall day with the company of your fellow bikers and the awesome staff of the Skibowl bike park.

For more info, please contact Petr Kakes at 503-913-9320.

See you on the hill!

Team Skibowl
