4th Annual 80's Night

4th Annual 80's Night

Friday, January 15th Skibowl is hosting its 4th annual salute to the big 80’s with a night of fun, sponsored by Next Adventure.

Break out your neon, leg warmers, hair spray and best valley girl accent and head to Skibowl for a night of fun and foolery.  Show up in your best 80’s costume and receive $7.00 off a night lift ticket that is good from 3:00pm to 11:00pm.

Several events will highlight the evening beginning with a fashion contest at 8:00pm with fab prizes, a photo booth from 7:00pm to 10:00pm and a DJ spinning 80’s tunes in the Beer Stube from 7:00pm to 10:00pm.  There will be lots of swag, prizes and giveaways, so come show us your best big hair band air guitar impression!

If skiing or snowboarding is, like, gag me with a spoon, then give Cosmic Tubing a try.  Just like cosmic bowling that started in the 80’s, Cosmic Tubing has black and colored lights, lasers, rocking 80’s music and tubes that glow under the lights for a radically fun time.  Show up in 80’s gear and receive $5.00 off of the Cosmic Tubing price.

Don’t miss Valentine’s Day at Skibowl either.  The day before 80’s night, on February 14th, give your love life a lift with chairlift speed dating on the Lower Bowl lift.  Dedicated lift lines, one for ‘single men’ the other for ‘single women’ will pair couples for the ride up, the rest is up to you!  If it turns out to be a match made in the mountains, then head to the historic Mid-Mountain Warming Hut for a romantic drink in front of the fire, or head down to the legendary Beer Stube for a variety of wines, cheese fondue and chocolate covered strawberries.  If it didn’t work out, head back to the bottom of the chair and try again.

The Valentine’s Day singles speed dating at Skibowl runs from 3:00pm to 10:00pm on Thursday, February 14th.  Since every Thursday is “College Night” at Skibowl, college students with proper ID will receive ½ off of an adult night lift ticket.
