Alpine Village will host the annual tree lighting ceremony on December 15, 2012.

The Govy General Store located in the heart of Government Camp will be the location for the annual tree lighting ceremony. The exciting holiday festivities will start at 6:00 pm. The master of ceremonies will be Santa Claus.  Santa will arrive on a fire truck provided by the Hoodland Fire Department at 6:30 pm.  Santa will be available for photos on his sleigh.

Free hot chocolate and donuts will be provided by Huckleberry Inn.  Sandy High School Symphonic Choir will perform unique holiday music. Santa will depart by Sleigh to Mt. Hood Skibowl East where additional photo opportunities will be available while Santa experience’s the much anticipated and talked about thrills of Cosmic Tubing and Ziplining located at the Mt. Hood Skibowl Winter Adventure Park. Mt. Hood Skibowl Resort is generously sponsoring the tree lighting event in the Alpine Village.

Sleigh rides will also be available daily 9:00am to 6:00pm throughout the holiday season.
