America’s Largest Night Ski Area is excited to announce the full opening of the Resort for Skiing, Snowboarding, Snow and Cosmic Tubing and the new Cosmic Ziplining.

The latest series of storms has given Skibowl over three feet of new powder and more snow is in the forecast for the next week.  960 acres are now open for skiing, with 65 day runs and 34 fully lit runs for night riding, for a total vertical drop of 1,500 feet.  Skibowl offers the most Black Diamond (advanced) runs of anywhere in Oregon, and is the only resort that is open for night skiing and riding seven days a week.

Full holiday operation is in effect through January 6th, opening at 9:00am midweek and 8:00am on the weekends.  Skibowl is open every night until 10:00pm, 11:00pm on Friday and Saturday.  Christmas Eve will close at 4:00pm so our employees can enjoy time with their families.  The Skibowl East Snow Tube and Adventure Park is open every day at 10:00am to 5:00pm for tubing, and Frosty’s Playland, with Cosmic Tubing and Ziplining open from 6:00pm to 10:00pm – 11:00pm on Saturday.

Celebrate New Year’s Eve with the best party on the mountain.  Skibowl will celebrate 25 years of its legendary midnight fireworks extravaganza with a host of events, including skiing/riding until 2:00am, Fireworks at Skibowl West and East, Cosmic Tubing until midnight, a torchlight parade down the Lower Bowl, live DJ’s, multiple beer gardens plus much more.
