Mt. Hood Skibowl has received some impressive snow amounts over the past week, allowing the ski area to begin full operations and open for skiing and snowboarding on Monday, December 17th.

The Snow Tube and Adventure Park opened this past Saturday with all its activities including snowtubing, nighttime Cosmic Tubing, new Cosmic Zip Lining, Frosty’s Playland, kids snowmobiles, Kiddie Carousel and the 2,400 square foot indoor Super Play Zone.

Skibowl will open Lower Bowl and Multorpor Chairs starting at 9am on Monday, December 17th.  Cascade Chair will open at 9:30am and the Upper Bowl Chair is scheduled to open at 3pm.  The ski area will turn on its lights as America’s Largest Night Ski Area and be open until 10pm on Monday.

All services and restaurants will be open including the Olympic Ski and Snowboard School, the rental shop, guest services and the retail shop.  For additional services and a full report on hours of operation, check out our webpage for daily conditions, webcams, lift status, operations report and grooming report.

Skibowl will be open 7 days and nights a week through January 6 for the holidays.
