Timberline to open the Palmer Chairlift this weekend!

Buy your Fusion Pass now and use it immediately with the longest ski season in North America!

Fresh snow has fallen in the Upper Bowl at Skibowl and Mt. Hood is nice and white again!

Now is the time to buy that Fusion Pass you have been holding off on.  Recent storms have dumped over two feet of great early season snow at Timberline Lodge, allowing them to open two chairlifts this Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 3pm, as weather and conditions permit.  The Palmer Chairlift will be open for skiing and riding, accessed by the Magic Mile Chairlift.  Skiers and riders should be prepared to download on the Magic Mile as the only skiable terrain at this time is on the Palmer Snowfield.

The Fusion pass is on sale now and will be valid for riding this weekend!  The pass is valid for the entire winter season at both Mt. Hood Skibowl and Timberline Lodge, giving you the longest ski season in North America and America’s Largest Night Ski Area.  New to the Fusion Pass this year is the Powder Alliance.  This gives every Fusion Pass holder 30 free tickets to 10 other partner resorts around the west.  The 12 resorts boast 123 lifts, 806 trails, 26,782 vertical feet and 3,919” of cumulative annual snowfall. Wow.  For more information visit www.powderalliance.com.

Get your ski on this weekend, then finish up with a fresh pizza and beer at the Ratskeller Bar and Pizzaria in Government Camp.  Make a weekend of it and book a room at Collins Lake Resort.  Fall is beautiful on the mountain and it is shaping up to be a great winter!

Riding and Skiing on the Palmer Snowfield is recommended for advanced intermediate and above skill levels only.  No beginner terrain is available at this time.  Due to early season conditions low snow areas may exist – please remain on groomed runs at all times and always ski and ride in control.
