Tubing Hill is open for the 2019 season!

The Snow Tube & Adventure Park at Skibowl East opened today for family fun on November 23rd. With 4 lanes of tube hills, the conveyer-assist lift, plus Frosty's Playland for kids and the Multorpor Lodge. Note:: Guests are encouraged to purchase two-hour sessions online before they arrive to guarantee their spot at  www.skibowl.com

Skibowl has been "farming" snow for several weeks.
A new automated snowmaking system at Skibowl East allows us to make snow at above freezing temperatures. Our climate controlled, self-contained system is far more sustainable than traditional snowmaking. It uses less than 10 gallons of water a minute, where a conventional snowmaking gun would use over 100 gallons per minute. We’re making 57 metric tons in 24 hours, equivalent to about 12 dump truck loads. Then, we’re covering our snow hills with insulated blankets to minimize melting from rain or sunshine until we’re ready to push that snow around to cover the hill. So while Mother Nature is expected to provide additional snow this weekend, (it  is dumping now), we've had a major assist with this new system.
